Buckle and rosette

Anybody know what kind of buckle this is, I found it and the rosette in a field where a few civil war artifacts have been found. I'm hunting a farm that was a 1830s plantation, the homesite is unhuntable right now due to weeds and underbrush. But the fields have just been cut. Thanks for any help. JJ358 image.jpegimage.jpeg
 

I will probably get smacked by the masses, but tin back rosettes are thought to be post war.

The brass horse bridle buckle looks 20th C, maybe early.

I think the horse furniture is late 19th at best. (Rosette, as you call them)
