Today I went to a newer highschool built in the 1960's hoping to find to find a little new silver and clad. Instead I found a mid 1850's home site in the field. First good target is a Bank of Upper Canada 1852 half penny token. Woo-hoo first ever and my oldest coin and it is gorgeous. Popped heavy brass crotal bell #2 but it is broken on the bottom. I did bump it a little with the shovel at the number 2 but I still love it. Got two indians, match stick holder, thimble, toe tap, tiny D buckle, a beautiful detailed clip possibly for suspenders and a buch of other stuff. Even some clad.

I'd say that was quite the successful hunt- the 1852 token is magnificent- Congrats!
