After a hot unproductive hunt , then a rainout, got back out to a "hunted out" spot. Focused on the edges and hard to reach nooks. Found a few interesting objects going in and coming out found a coin that's been on my bucket list and I never thought I'd find one.

A Rosa Americana and in incredible condition. In the past I pulled two almost blank KG's from this spot but this is so sharp I couldn't believe it.

Nice Leather ornament and some other odds and ends.

i found one yrs ago - rarer than tree coins
got dozen friends that have found one or more tree coins = im only one without one but only one with a Rosa

Bucket lister huh, I’d never even heard of one. Guess you two have given up your fishing obsession?

I can't get LS in the boat. He's got detecting fever. When you are in lets drag his butt out and get some trout.

That Rosa is one of the nicest I have seen posted. Cool leather ornament too. I dug a similar one at an very early site in Antiqua

That Rosa Americana is in fantastic condition. Congrats on a great find.

What a beautiful coin! Congrats on the amazing find!! Never hunted out! haha

Nice, im new to the hobby but im finding things where ive seen people hunting for years. I doubt they are throwing beaver tails back in the hole so im sure to find something good eventually.

Thanks everyone. That was an awesome find but there's plenty more on my bucket list, next up early American silver.
