Damnails and I went to a new spot today that I have only been to once. The day I was there it was to cold and froze to do much but I still found a few bullets, so we new it was probably a good spot. This place is about 2 miles from a battle field that we have studied a lot about. It is a choke point between two ridges and is in the line of the Union retreat from the battle. Damnails stumbled on what is ether a bullet dump or a place were they were molding bullets. We know from the history that the union destroyed a lot of supplies when they left. We found a lot of round balls and bucky balls in an area no bigger than 5 square yards, and a lot of melt in the same area so who knows? We also found a few 3 ringers and he found a Indian head penny but we haven't got the date yet. Thanks for looking!!
