Please remember to use caution when removing any object whether it be swinging a dirt fisher or yard work .... i forgot to wear gloves and ended up in the ER for a gash on my knuckle with 3 stitches . so remember be safe and happy hunting

Heh if I had a Indian head for every time I sliced fingers on glass and rusty iron while recovering targets, I'd still be slicing my fingers on those things, collateral damage that goes with the hobby.
I do say though since buying a pinpointer, my slices have been greatly reduced.

A couple years ago I got a great signal (82) while using an ATPro. I pinpointed target, dug a plug to reveal a silver object. Naturally I get excited, as the field I was detecting dated to the mid-1800s. So I stupidity grab the silver object only to have a razor sharp arrow tip in hand! If not for gloves, I woulda been sliced.
Wear gloves!
Peace
