This broken beauty is roughly 2 inches in diameter. I dug it many moons ago, and just rediscovered it in a box.

I'll have to get pics up of the 2(!) pieces of broken 2" marble I found on the shoreline here in Maryland. The first piece popped up one day-- an extraordinary day-- along with a small opal cabuchon and small tuquoise cabuchone- once mounted for jewelry, I suppose. Nevertheless, this chunky piece of interior-swirl marble catches my eye (I LOVE finding marbles- especially when it's in a cercumstance where it feels like finding a needle in a haystack). The second piece popped up over a year later. Time and tides over amazing things, and I love my small collection of oddball glass items. I'll do my best to post a pic soon of my bits and pieces, but thank you for your's. Very cool little treat! Happy Hunting!
