Went to an old spot that is very junky, old iron. There was an immigration office there back 1890-1920's. Dodging the rain, I managed to lock onto an intermittent signal which turned out to be this buckle. You can see the ProPointer in the hole haha, this baby was deep. I can't find an exact example anywhere, if anybody know anything about it I'd appreciate it.

The Mercury dime was nice to find, and I was happy to see it in really good condition. Nice full split bands on the Winged Liberty dime!

That buckle is interesting! Like the merc too

Thanks, probably one of the nicer Mercury dimes I have found yet.

That buckle is nice looking bud. Great detail on the merc as well

Nice dime!! I do not think the buckle is military, it looks more like a fashion sash buckle to me.

Yeah, I wasn't sure. I have found early 1900's military/immigration/customs buttons and coins in the same spot, so I figured it was old. Plus being so deep...I was hoping old military. Gotta do some more research I guess.

Cool buckle, and good job on the silver!

Nice saves!!

Nice Buckle, The enamel held up well.

All I can say about the Buckle is it is very unlikely to be Military.

Nice finds JC! The Merc is sweet... it did not get to circulate very long before... oops...
