✅ SOLVED Bridgeport Lantern Expertise please!

I dug this lantern base (I guess you call it a "base") today. I need help dating it, as I am not knowledgable at these...yet.
On the knob it reads: "Bridgeport" and that's all I can make out. where the wick comes out says: "Pat Aug-10 75...Re Dec-7 80". I HOPE that means 1875 and 1880, but I am realistic. Just id'ing this piece is good for me. Thanks guys!

Not an expert, but the part would be called the burner, and yes the dates would be referring to 1875 and 1880, although it may have been produced a bit later (up until their next improvement)
