Is that Tennessee material?
It does look like a Brewerton eared.

I'm thinking this is not a find of his.

Its a gray blue like I find. Called Altoona Blue around here. A high quality flint.

Looked like Tennessee blue hornstone.
It looks different from the piece you have next to it to me.
Anyway .. it's a nice point.

Looks like it rock. Heavily resharpened hornstone Brewerton side notch? I am trying to find one similar to compare it to but seems I can't put my hands on it at the moment :dontknow: Keep pulling out buck creeks. It seems I am disorganized :laughing7:

I'd say your right TN.. notched expanding stem.

Rock, I have a point similar to that one only the notching is smaller. I found mine in southern New Mexico. I to am wondering what that style of point is called.

Well lets see yours.

It was in a collection I had bought. I was just checking to see what yall thought on it. Its not from NM but might be from TN due to the color is a slight more blue than the color I have found around here. IDK could be from Ala. I have bought collections and have found 1 or 2 pieces out of place before. Maybe given as gifts.
Anyway thanks for helping me to decide what it might be. rock

I believe you are correct. But it was in a collection of said GA.

Probably was found in Georgia.. just looks like the material came from Tennessee.

Probably was heading to be a drill by the thinness of the blade. Thanks everyone for the help.
