So, finished up 2 days of being called in for jury duty and still being required to work my night shifts (got 4 and a half hours sleep in 46 hours) Judge felt sorry for me and sent me home. Weather's good and I was ready to get out somewhere besides Summit County. Went up north on Trough Road and looked over the Colorado River. They have a little less snow on the ground than we do. Still cold like everywhere, only up to 14 at 11a.m.

Hey metalman, if there's a place where they dump the snow from clearing the streets, like here, go detect that when it starts to melt down in spring. I've found some pretty cool stuff.

I was just looking at the snow piles around the Walmart parking lot. Locations noted for spring thaw.👍🏻

Looks pretty brisky out there. I've never been selected for jury duty. During the selection process you just answer all their questions like your some kind of a smart ass and they'll cross you off every time.

My father in law always got out of jury duty. He would tell them: “If the cops brought him in he has to be guilty.”🤣 That always worked for him. Another way to get shown to door quickly is to tell the lawyers and judge you are a firm believer in “Jury Nullification”. I guarantee you’ll be gone in a heartbeat.
