Brass find from an old trash site. Solved and thanks!

Found this item at an old trash site along with lots of other items in the same hole! OK, it appears to be ornamental, thin stamped brass. A blue glass "stone" to the left in the picture and a missing one in the center. A thin flat bail on the right of the picture would fit a ribbon.

Also found some other small decorative stamped brass with it as well as most of a set of leather suspenders minus most of the leather and lots of iron.

Just wondering if this was something for a lady, harness decoration, ??

Nice find! It looks too thin to be part of a harness to me. Maybe part of a Victorian style purse maybe? Need some Breezie help here!

I'll take a pic of the back tonight but it's nothing special. Just the attached bail and the reverse side of a stamping.

A larger picture of the back is in order.

It is, in my opinion, one half of a two piece Victorian era ladies sash or belt buckle. There should be two marks on the back where a loop was attached.

I looked hard at the back and i see one spot on the back under the existing stone that might have had something but it was a single spot and small.

I agree with that. In the first photo below, it looks like you can see two attachment points where the arrows point.
The next two photos are my reconstruction as to how I think it might have looked.
The last photo is an actual sash buckle similar to what I imagine yours looked like.
