Hi All,
Here's my Find O' The Day!
This was found at the site of a recently-razed home along with some modern silver and a crotal bell.
I know very little (ok, nothing) about wax seals.

This has been described as a "Brass Crown Wax Seal Stamp".
It stands 2 inches tall and is 1 inch at the widest point. You can see traces of gilt.
My first reaction was....wheeeeeeee! Then, hmmm, I don't think it's as old as it appears.
What say you, oh wise ones?
Thanks for any help you can provide!
