Is this suitable for beach/water detecting? I mostly do parks/land for coins /jewelry and want to start doing more beach wet locations.

Still using two 30+ year old white's 5000 and 6000.

Their real good in the dry and good in the damp sand-but don't get the control box wet. Excellent versitile MD.
