yesterday marked our 1 year of detecting anniversary.. so we felt the time had come to take David’s 2 daughters out with us… apart from the freezing cold, and aching arms they loved it… I think 😆…they only stayed a couple of hours, but i loved teaching them the dark art of detecting 😆 we went to the fields on the opposite side of the village, behind the church and got quite the mix!

A Boy Scout badge, a Boy Scout button, 2 lead strips, musket balls, a pendant, a silver ring (no hall mark) a fancy spoon handle, buttons, including a East Leicestershire Rifle Volunteers button, another whistle…and 1862 penny, 1901 half penny, 1921 penny, 1929 sixpence, 1933 half penny, 1936 penny, 1941 two Shilling and a 1944 Six pence 😃 xx

Very Nice!!! Congrats!!!

A 3 silver day - very good. We need more Girls in the hobby:metaldetector::laughing7:

''a pendant'' - Is a Seal Fob Matrix missing its stone with the imprint on it.
Ah thanks Crusader 😆 x i agree.. but i think we may not see them out with us again till summer 😂 xx bless them xx

Ooh thats amazing… i wanted to think it was special… but never like to say 😂!!xx

Getting out as a family is a wee treasure in its self blossom.
The finds are just an added layer of icing.

Liking the little ring still, must be all the little rosettes that make it stand out.
Well done on the silvers and coppers
That fob seal kind of steals the show a bit

Great pictures once again-love all the green.

Great assortment of finds and Saves. Well Done in hunting, recovering, introducing the young ones to a Great hobby, and for sharing pic's with us. Continued Success.
