Bourbon Balls
2 and ½ cup of finely crushed vanilla wafers (approx. 63)
½ cup of powdered sugar
1 cup finely chopped nuts
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate bits
½ cup of bourbon (rum or brandy may be substituted)
3 tbsps light corn syrup
Extra powdered sugar
Melt chocolate over hot water.
Add corn syrup and bourbon.
Combine crushed wafers, powdered sugar and nuts.
Add chocolate misture. Let stand 30 mins.
Shape into 1 inch balls and roll in the extra sugar.
Put in covered container for 3 days to ferment
