Look at it under a magnifying glass If you see a bunch of tiny dots making up the image it is modern for sure. If it is all solid colors it is original or a very good repop. Ha.com can help you if you don't see any dots. Someone will need to see it as a picture won't do!

You can still buy that poster on Canal Street, in Manhattan, for $10.00

We have a Amusement Park in New Orleans that I went to as a child. Opened in the 30’s and was desegregated in 1964. It closed in 1983 which was a shock to all New Orleans. The scariest wooden roller coaster was there the Zephyr. The white paint was all chipped off and it shook and swayed back in forth to where you didn’t know if the ride you where on was it’s last and would just crumble. Bought this original sign in remembrance of my childhood and that wicked clown. IMG_1366.jpgThis was a the point where hearing the clicking noise from the chain that was bringing you up to the highest point Where are you thought we’re gonna die and then gravity took over. The actual roller coaster you where sitting in and rattled back-and-forth so much you thought it was going to fly off the track at any minute it was the scariest roller coaster out of any new modern roller coaster made. Oh ok because in the 70-80’s The was something called the 714 lemon which was also known as quaaludes. Bill Cosby made them famous in his case. I’d tell you more about them but I can’t remember.IMG_0012.jpg Yes I collect old drug bottles hey what can I say it’s from a past. Lol

" This clown image is one of several designs that Morgan (not to be confused with Russell-Morgan of Cincinnati) executed for the Greatest Show on Earth.
All of the designs were less traditional than what circus fans were accustomed to - and this clown image was only used that one year. (1931)

In the 1970s-80s reproductions of this poster were sold by the thousands by mail-order and at performances
of the Ringling-Barnum circus. "

Rorer and Lemmon made the 714 quaaludes. Thus the 70s name.

Now they are just called Cosby's or mmmmm pudding. :laughing7:
