You got a good deal just the panning kit cost me $40 and mine didn't come with any gold, the sluice probably cost more than $50. Good luck and HH

Only thing missing is a shovel, hand pick, and another classifier(1/8th mesh or smaller - a kitchen strainer will do). You got a great deal for starters! Now
you need to find out if the gold bug strikes. The guy who sold this to you was immune, and you might be too.

I don't think I am immune due to I am so addicted to treasure hunting period and have always wanted to try this also. I love the water and creeks so it will be up my alley. Lol.

Well Blskypilot showed me how to pan and sluice on his stand with my sluice box. This is the result of about 2 gallons of dirt. I am hooked.

Nice gold and pan setup but tinkertoy sluice is a joke as fed by a hand trowel only with preclassifed gravels only , Classify down to 1/4" dry if possible and run SLOWLY after completely wetting them. The gold in the vial was what made the deal good. Keep hittn' CL for a full sized sluice and you'll be good to go.What takes 5 minutes to run in the tinyn' will take 10 seconds in a decent sluicebox,I'd use for running concentrates through myself to further reduce weight. Any luck with that AP pro Not a single good word heard yet on gold-decent for coins--but they don't float my dredge-John

Have not used the At Pro for nugget shooting but it will find small gold jewelry fine. I am mainly a coin shooter. The sluice works great with classified material. I used it yesterday and Dave even said he liked the way it works on that stuff. I will get bigger stuff down the road when I get the hang of it.

Made a stand for the box and here is what I have so far. I think the flow will be enough. It has a ball valve on it and is not wide open in the video.
