Bought on a whim

I bought this silver pin on Craigs list on a whim hope someone can tell me something about it. Measures 4.25 inches long and just over an inch wide at the widest part. looks like designers name is Julie Schmidt and is dated 1993. ive looked her up on line but havent got that much information on her or the pin hope someone can help thanks
