bottle i.d.?

Hi, a friend of mine found this bottle in the walls of his house, the house dates back to the early 1800's. Any ideas on what it is?? Thanks.

Hey Mainedigger , I hope you don't mind , but I posted it on a bottle forum that I'm a member of . So far there is one responce - He thinks the curved part resembles the " Spine of a book "

A Scandavavian boat light? huh...and me being a commercial fisherman and I still had no clue as to what it was... Mojjax...thanks for posting it where it could be i.d.'d, I appreciate it much, and please pass along my thanks to them....
