I have a lot of arizona flour gold to process, although I know Mercury is a little dangerous and I heard Borax takes the danger out.

Will the Keene Super Concentrator work for flour gold or should I just use the blue bowl with jet dry?

I tried to take this photo with my cell, it's a little blurry.

Any help would be appreciated.

I'm not finished processing this yet, just taking a short break.

It's hard to get a good shot to see the flour gold.

I believe that the saying for mercury is...It can absorb up to its own weight in gold...So, if you went out and bought a pound of mercury...You can amalgamate up to a pound of gold with it... So, if you are going to use it in your blue bowl, after you shut it down... You should only need about 1/4 to 1/2 oz of mercury in it to amalgamate 1/4 to 1/2 ounce of gold... Like jair mentioned...a little does go a long way...

I have heard that it is a lot easier if you get you a copper plate or bowl or something to said effect and plate it with mercury and run your slurry over said mercury coated copper article... I believe that it is easier to amalgamate using said method...

I also know it causes brain damage and insanity

This is an area I'm working on my claim, you can see the chunks of gold in places here

If you think Mercury causes insanity and brain damage, just wait until you have to start filing your income taxes!

Mercury has been vilified in the press and is really not as dreadful as they want you to believe. However, it must be respected the same as you do any other hazardous substance like gasoline, pesticides or electricity. The difference is that most people have no experience with Mercury

i agree that it is not as deadly as the media portrays. I remember both of my parents telling me they played with puddles of it as kids. They liked to separate it and watch it roll around as little beads before it started to mash into itself forming back to the puddle. Also, reminds me of T1000 from terminator.

I agree, but it's the fumes and wearing protection in the handling of it. A chemical mask and rubber gloves. Then putting into the retort with a torch. Putting a wet cloth into the bottle to help keep the fumes down. Outside would be preferred and it would be nice to have a clear glass box with a fan to help suck the fumes out, air flow.

If that is yours John then good for you. If it is ForumRunner's, as it attributes to when you hover the mouse arrow over it, then good for him.

This is mine, I uploaded it from my cell phone. When you upload from a cell, it says; forum_runner. I don't know why.

To cut out any confusion. I will re upload it again so you won't think it belongs to someone else. I sent the cell phone photo from my phone's email to the email on my computer and downloaded it, then uploaded it to the site from my computer. That better?

for every 2 pounds of ore, I'm getting 1.5 ounces of gold from my spanish/jesuit mine.
I will add more photos tomorrow. I'll post better photos of the gold loaded ore and take the photos in the sunlight.
I have 50 lbs of ore to process until next Sunday when I go get more.

And you have over a hundred tons @ 1.5 oz au per 2 lbs...? Isn't that one hundred and fifty thousand ounces of gold?...or am i having a brain fart?...What am I missing here? Hire armed security..Sounds to me like, with ex employees, etc, that you couldn't trust, the cat is out of the bag...I'd be searching for a professional..and make sure your legal ends are tied securely...I hear Todd Hoffman is available ;) ...

I trust my ex employee's because they are my inlaws, as my wife is filippino and that is her father that had to return to the Phils (as he knows how to read Japanese, he has been very successful hunting/recovering yamashita treasure in davao) and was called back there to help decipher it.

Her brother is helping me as he has had tremendous experience working with gold also in the Philippines.
You need'nt worry or have concern about my operation and the hell with that discovery channel show.

That dribble to me is all scripted bs and I don't need a bunch of childish whiney men with a truck load of drama working for me.

The bluebowl pic... A BB doesn't work like that!

I added all my fines together and took the pic

It looks better in the bowl and you can see how much came out of 15 pounds of rock .

The fines are so fine that I run the bowl at a slower speed for a very long time, every now and then I shut it off and use a spoon to pull everything back the the side of the bowl and turn it back on.

Then I added all the fines together and ran it for another 4 hours at even a slower speed/barely moving to pick up and fine fine dirt.

I think took the picture with all of it together.

sorry for misreading what you meant and what I said previously. Not having a good day, I had a slight mishap in the garage; I dropped my classified material I broke down earlier into stuff I hadn't broke down. lol

so now later on, I have to go re classify it... think I need a beer

Good info

Earthquake Vibrating Gold Classifier - Gold Rush Trading Post

I will buy this, this week. It crushes to talc size, then I will classify it and run it.

8 inch Rock Crusher - Electric Motor - Gold Rush Trading Post

We have an earthquake classifier and you shouldn't need it with the impact mill. Look around before buying equipment and only buy to suit your production. Right now you are thinking small with a faulted assessment. You should assay the entire area and then buy your equipment to represent how much time that you want to take to extract it. The shortest amount of time to process is not always best but it really depends on the security and availability.
