Are these bones anything? The darker of the two I pulled out of a collapsed creek bank that was eroding away. About six foot down. It almost looks fossilized. Thanks for any input... JYD...

L to R - cow and an equid horse. These are metapodials - "cannon bones" - the homologues to the bones in the back of your hand and the top of your foot.
