It's great! Congratulation :)
Dou you have any details about shipping or ordering rules? I am interested in especially the condition of shipping to abroad... :)

Re: Bobadilla's Newest Book

We have no special instructions regarding overseas shipping just yet, but the lulu organization sells books all over the world and some of the titles are sold directly on Amazon. Amazon owns lulu. I'm sure that any overseas transaction will go smoothly.

Re: Bobadilla's Newest Book

Bobadilla,

Congratulations! Wow, I know it must be exciting to go to press with something you have put so much hard work in to! I know it will be a tremendous success.

How can I purchase an advance copy if there are any still available!

Robert

Re: Bobadilla's Newest Book

Hello my dear TH Forum friends!

I would like to give you many thanks to all of you for your nice posts and I hope that you will like my book. I have worked hard to finish this book for couple of years and you, the TH Forum members helped me also a lot in my work with your posts and some interesting information.

I would like to state here that this book could not be published without great help of my friend Terry Armstrong (signumops). Not only he made all the necessary corrections but he also added some photos, drawings and maps. Thank you Terry, you made my dream come true again!

Best regards to all,
Lobo
(Bobadilla)

Re: Bobadilla's Newest Book

Lobo, conngrats. on your new book, I am looking forward to it's release. I really enjoyed your last book HIDDEN AND LOST TREASURES IN THE DOMINICAN REPUBLIC. One day I would like to come down and dive on some of the many wrecks. What a wonderful place to be.
Thank's Jeff

Re: Bobadilla's Newest Book

I just received a copy of this book. Congratulations Bobadilla and Thank you. For those who asked about international shipping I recommend to try via above mentioned lulu.com. I ordered the book to Germany, shipping wasn't expensive at all and surprisingly fast too. The book is great and as I've been living for 8 years in the Dominican Republic myself, working as a Scuba Instructor and beeing a wreck enthusiast, it has a lot of information I had allways been interested in. I know by own experience how difficult it is to gather all the information while writing a book about this topic (started to write one about more modern wrecks in the DR myself- there are plenty of them not mentioned in Bobadillas book). I dove on many of the described wrecks- modern as well as antique- some of them actually hundreds of times.

Re: Bobadilla's Newest Book

Man o man! I just really want to check the place out. Thanks for the pic. I swore I'd go down and see Bobadilla this year, but it doesn't look like I am gonna make it. Maybe next spring...

Re: Bobadilla's Newest Book

For the last three years I've wanted to go there again (my wife too as she is from the DR and wants to see her family), I still have a list of wrecks to dive or dive again- can't make it just yet. Maybe next spring. I like it best in May there.

Just ordered my copy! :icon_thumleft:

Re: Bobadilla's Newest Book

Hi Wrecker!

Thanks for your nice words about my book. I hope that when you come here to DR, you will contact me and we can dive on some unusual wreck sites for example in the National parks where I can go with special permission from the Dominican authorities.

For those who have already bought my book:
I wrote exact locations of some of historical "treasure" shipwrecks in my book, so if you would be tempted to go there and pick up gold bars by yourself, be careful, even in this third world country you need to have proper permissions to do that. Of course, you can also opt for the risk and adventure but then....consequences could come. You can always contact me guys, and I will be more than pleased to help you if I can.

Regards to all,
Lobo (Bobadilla)
