4 cups fresh blueberries...you may use frozen
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1/3 cup softened butter + extra for buttering the dish
1/3 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup unbleached all purpose flour
3/4 cup old fashioned rolled oats
light cream

PREPARE:
Preheat oven to 350F.

1. Butter an 8- or 9-inch square pan or round crimped quiche pan looks nicer for serving.

2. Pour the blueberries into the pan. Sprinkle with the sugar and toss to mix. Spread the blueberries into an even layer.

3. In a mixing bowl, cream the butter and brown sugar.

4. Stir the oats and the flour into the butter mixture.

5. Spread the topping on top of the blueberries. Place in the oven and bake for about 30-35 minutes. The top should be a golden brown.

Serve warm topped with some of the cream
