Hello everyone! I have another find that is probably trash, but I am curious what it could be. I found these pieces on the surface while metal detecting at a site that I know had a structure at least in mid 1930s to mid 1950s (I have no aerial images of the site from before or after these dates). They appear to have a leathery texture on the outside but a textile-like texture in the inside. Any ideas?

Thank you all very much for the help! It may be old, but it is definitely trash, so I think I should just throw it away.

I appreciate all of the input.

@releventchair That is very interesting about the Naugahyde. I have never heard of that material before, but it does seem to be similar to this. It said it was first made in 1936, and I found this at a site that was in the very least occupied from 1930s-1950s, so it seems like that could line up! I have been to Stoughton, Wisconsin a number of times, so it was funny to see on the Wikipedia page that Naugahyde is now manufactured there.
