i brought some cordura 1000d outdoor waterproof nylon fabric .looked good but i cut it wrong oops.when i redo it i will order the 1650d .i got it from ebay.

I used some rubber floor underlayment I acquired at a plumbers yard sale.
It's about 1/6" thick and does not show any wear yet - works great.
contact cement and staples holding well.

I like that idea

Turns out that a friend gave me some "Sunbrella Marine Canvas" and while not as heavy as I would have liked, seems very durable plus it's waterproof and UV resistant.
I installed it yesterday and will put it to a field test tomorrow.
