Found this ring a couple weeks back and thought it was bling because there are no "K" markings inside. Was bringing some other stuff to the local jewelery store, so brought it along. He said " Wow, this a nice ring; the diamond is a very old cut and it's color is perfect...a "D" color. Most likely 18k as it has probably been in the water for over 70 years and has no discoloring on the gold at all:icon_thumright:. Everything else I found in the area was from the 20's to the 40's..........

A really pretty ring! I have found a few that weren't marked. I wonder if the marks might have been worn off before the ring was lost. Normal wear, every day, for say, 50 years? :)

Probably 18k? Didn't he test ?

Anyway, nice!

HH!

Nope - He didn't test it, though he said - "You should put that diamond into a necklace for your wife, i'll do it for the gold" :dontknow:

Great find, I would keep the ring as is and get it tested to confirm the carat.
