It's been a long long time since I posted here. I have been out of the metal detecting hobby for 12-13 years. I recently got the itch to get back into it.
I still have a Troy Shadow X5 and Minelab Musketeer Advantage. I started out in 1991 with a White's Classic II which I loved and sold some time ago.
I recently had the opportunity to purchase a like new White's Classic ID with the maroon colored headphones for $50. It has the ProScan 800 coil
on it which works fine. My question is will either a BLACK MAX 950 PRO or Blue Max DeepScan 950 coil work with the Classic ID? If I posted this in the wrong place I apologize.
Just hearing the sound of the ID brought back some fond memories of my long gone Classic II. Anyway, any input would be greatly appreciated.
