Went to a state park camping beach. The water was down about 2 1/2 feet so the beach was about 12 feet longer. I worked part of the beach as I went in and out in the water. I did part of this water and beach about 2 months ago. I was hoping the contributors had left me some new stuff. It took 2 days to finish all the water and beach with the ATPro.
Day one I spent 6.5 hours and found 42 coins with a face value of $3.17, toy cars, tabs and foil (as always), sinkers, a brass safety pin, 2 cheapy earrings, a large heavy (half Troy ounce) stainless St Benedict ring and a 14k gold clasp.
The clasp is bent, it probably happened when the bracelet or necklace got ripped off the owner, ouch. They probably found the bracelet or necklace, because I searched hard and didnโt find it. The ATPro would have picked it up easily if it was still there. It is marked .583 which is the decimal equivalent of 14k.
On Day 2 in 6 hours I found 52 coins with a face value of $3.70, what looks like a drug pipe, sinkers, tabs, foil, bits of broken tabs, shoe grommets, a pellet gun pellet, and a brass safety pin.
I also found a nice bunch of cheapy jewelry, 2 silver earring backs, a hinged silver bead, 2 silver stud earrings with czs, and an 18k gold earring. One earring back is marked STG, an abbreviation for sterling and the rest if the silver is marked 925. The gold is marked 750, the decimal equivalent of 18k.
So more gas money and gold and silver for the pile. Nothing big but it all still counts and it is always a thrill to scoop up jewelry, a specially gold and silver. Thanks for looking and may your coil lead you to good things.
