Finally got around to getting permission at a spot a guy I've know for a long time and used to work with... Place had revolutionary war history and house was built in 1780s had a peach orchard and a trade post too... Well talking to him he said he found and showed me a 1856 seated half he found when raking an area to pour a concrete pad... Shows me where a guy years ago found 3 coins right in a row and about 2 feet over another 3 in a row... So I hit probably a 10x10 foot area and found this... The Morgan looked amazing coming out of the dirt

Yep ring is 14k... I'm going to hammer the place guy said come back anytime he didn't care so Saturday I'm throwing the CTX in the truck and making record time getting down there

Let me see if I understand. You hit a 10 foot by 10 foot area in an obviously unsearched spot and found the morgan, two barbers and a gold ring? What else came out as far as anyting like pennies or trash, etc.
Amazing digs and I can only imagine what else you will dig. Please keep us posted.

Yes all 4 of them were in the small area 3 of them a step apart and the Morgan probably 2 foot to the side... I dug a little trash and a couple clad coins in the area
