Today was my second hunt of 2016 and it was a good one, erosion was a minor let down, expected mayor damage, will just have to wait for the next system, this weeks rain was nothing compared to the rain el niño will send our way in the next two months. Back to the hunt, got a super nice 1899 Barber Half first half of the year and it was deep like 7 scoops deep, what started as a faint signal turned into one of the nicest coins if not the nicest coin in my short metal detecting carreer, i like it, invested a little over 6 hrs into the hunt and it paid off getting 1 standing liberty quarter, 4 mercury dimes, 2 v nickels, 5 buff's, a dozen wheats, and another half at the end of the hunt on the way to my car in the least expected place i get a Walker and next target a merc. Was pretty tired so called it. Also got a nice silver ring , it has a stone that turns blue when light hits it on an angle not sure what it is but i like it.
