Hello everyone!

I actually wasn't planning on going detecting today. I had to work a few hours today ~ I'm a property manager and the first week of the month is very busy for me! I got done with my work a little earlier than I thought I was gonna and my wife suggested we go to the park so she can sit out in the nice weather and read, and I can go detecting! She talked me into it!

I ended up digging a few wheat cents, some clad, and a little silver ring. The last coin I dug today was a 1933-S Walking Liberty Half dollar! WOOHOO!!!!!! It was about 6 inches deep! This is my silver coin find #69 for the year! I also dug an old button and a weird little button thingy that reads, "ROCKY THE RANGE CHICKEN". Anyone ever see one of these thingies? Anyone know anything about the button either?!

Thanks for looking!
Neil

Cool beans dude those WL's are the best, it makes you want to do a jig when you find one. WTG

Very nice walker :icon_sunny: Rocky the range chicken are chickens averaging 5 pounds who are allowed to roam freely in their natural habitat and not confined to cages or pens. Petaluma Poultry (petaluma Ca) is close to where you live. That came off of their web site. Hope that answers your question about Rocky ;D

Thanks Dan!

Yeah, 100 silvers would be nice! I've surpassed my silver count from last year already (65 silvers in 2007) and there's still over three months to go in 2008! I dug a 1951 Rosie dime today ~ silver coin #70!

8^)
