Big coin & a Merc
Went to the beach on Tuesday morning for about 3.5 hours. I hunted with the Excal II until low tide and didn't have much to show for my time spent swinging. I did however come up with this 1984 Mardi Gras coin. Feels like it was made out of aluminum. Made my heart skip a beat or two when I saw the size of it. Kind of a neat find though...I'll take it. Then yesterday I went back out to the fields and hunted for about 3 hours. The section I was in was very clean and about all I had to show for my time yesterday was this 1920 Mercury dime. Nice piece of silver to make the day worthwhile.
