Big BUCK & battery plaque

We went & stayed in a cabin just up the Mnt. from are ranch. Ther is a area that had a 1870's saw mill it has never ben M.D,ed. I had been M.Ding for about 5 mins when I dug up a lead plaque that read WILLARD STORAGE BATTERY CO. & a lot of pat. numbers pending. After that my batterys whent out. So we, my wife two boys ( 1 1/2 & 6) & I walked up the bath about 20 yards & saw this bad boy we wached him for about 5 mins. then he slowly went on. I have been a avid hunter for years this is the bigest buck I have been that close to. after that we walked on for about 100 yards to a remot look out of a great canyon we could hear a male turky calling & a female calling from the other side of the canyon. I will be going back with batterys & a rifle. I know there hase to be some good T.H. at that saw mill. hay mabe I can modify my M.D. to shoot. Ha HA. I'm sure Macgyver would of found a way to get that buck using the Battery Plaque and detector. Anyway nice camera shot. Maybe next time, you'll get some great coins and venison. That would be a great hunt.

Looks like he is rutted up pretty good by the size of his neck! bring some doe in heat with you and your rifle. I bet he don't stand so pretty when you have a gun instead of a MD. Cladius.

sounds like a neat find! is there a date on it? if its old we could look up the patent numbers. that is one big deer :o

Hay Jake that would do great if we could find out the date Through the pat. #. Hear is a few.#1 Battery cover 1150917, Connector 1150918 & End Connector 115019. there is others that are pending. By the way where do you get the info. to find this out. I have other #'s that I would like to find out about. Yes I miss having good venison when I lived in Mich. 90% of are meat was just that. Lot better for you besides tasting better. SAS <><

You can find the pic on the US Patent Office website. Type in the patent number and hit search and then click on the images in the top/center of the screen.

Hay digemall thank you for the info. I will put this on Favorites & spend the rest of today useing it. My guess was 1902. I tryed to do a pic. but did not come out. SAS<><
