Big Boy back on the tracks

I made my self a note to head up to Laramie Wyo to witness this massive locomotive that's gone under several years of restoration, but too many other obligations got in the way. It's headed to Ogden Utah in celebration of the golden spike ceremony this weekend. It's going to make a return trip next weekend I believe, so maybe I'll go see it then? I think it's a treasure brought back to life.

LOVE IT!!! live steam nothing like it.... here in MI they have a pace you can submit a request and a year later you get to drive (under suprevision) a steam engine! YEP BTDT!
