It's been a while since I've been on here but check out this find! Looks to be made from bone. I about lost it when I pick it up and realized what I had found! Looks like he could have held something with his hands, legs have holes like he could have been on a stand? Or maby some moccasins? Any thoughs or information welcomed, approximate age would be appreciated.

it looks like it has some age for sure. the question is how much age? I agree in getting an expert's opinion. if it is old it is definitely an awesome find and a banner find. Please post any possible follow up info. congrats on a neat find.
 

Yeah, i cant wait to bring it in. It was found in a washed out river bank.

Very nice!...don't no anything about whale bone etc., but my first thought...could the legs actually been the roots of a whale tooth instead of bone? size wise?
