Big, beautiful North American Placer!! Freakin' fantastic!!!

Unbelievable video of big North American gold nuggets + new finds, pics, videos added: a live thread, so please post your gold shots.
I'll add other videos or stills of big nuggety North American gold as I find them.

This video starts slow, but it's shot underground, so give it a while and then watch out that you don't have a freakin' heart attack!!

I hope you love looking at this as much as I did--every placer miner's dream come true. If you're a rookie, you'll get the fever bad watching this one. (To avoid any confusion, this is not my video, nor is it my clean-up, nor was I involved in any way--I found it by mistake after typing in a search word incorrectly [that's why I'd never found it before], but I sure do love it!!)

Almost 3,800 ounces in the last shot--fines are in the large plastic bags. 100 miles north of the Arctic Circle!

All the best,

Lanny

P.S. I posted it with my beginner's thread as well, but it's so great it deserves it's own place too.

Garret, All the best to you, and I hope you find a nice one or two! All the best, Lanny
Well I didn't find anything. Again. Hmmmm. Well except the small lead where the gold should have been. I knew I was on the right track. Oh and the scratch and small dent on the door. Truck slid into the gate on the right turn. Oh well. I should've had my son open other gate and I didn't. I knew I could fit but the turn was tight and radius on tundra isn't the best, compared to other vehicles I've had.
So I'm planning another trip up north into some freshly flooded areas. Can't wait to see what my grounds are like now. Just wonder if my buddies can go. Or am I going solo? I surely hope that if I find my first nugget and it's not exceedingly huge (say 250 lbs) that I'd have nobody but myself to share that with. Lol. I mean, I would post a pic here.

Not my find, but I thought I'd share and let you all know it can still be found in California. I had the privilege of holding this hefty little guy a friend of mine found sniping. Yes that is a regular sized Bic lighter. The piece weighs in at just shy of 2ozt.

My god that's a fat piece. You were lucky enough to hold it. Sure wish I could hold it. Thanks for sharing!

I'm working on getting permission to post a picture of an incredible nugget. I just got the photos in my email from a fellow nugget shooter I know.

I sure hope I can get permission as it's a monster!

All the best,

Lanny

Lanny, it seems to me that the receding glaciers should be opening up much heretofore never prospected territory.
Have you heard of any one's success looking in to this virgin territory?

Only what I've seen on television, but you do have an excellent point, and I'm sure if someone hasn't found some great ground yet, they likely will.

All the best,

Lanny

Anyone else see the 6 Troy pounder pulled out of Nor-Cal this year? My wife showed me a vid on her Facebook. Very Nice!!!
