Do they issue you a wolf tag along with the one for deer?

They are Dizzy.......... Here "No" tags needed for Wolves as they are open all year round with "No" bag limit....
Later depending on road conditions and weather we are planning to do some predator chasing using calls..

The attached that shows wolves & coyotes hunting here is from the regulations ..

Where do you live that it is open season on wolves?

I can imagine wolves are rough on wildlife. Funny though, wolves and all the ungulates lived together for thousands of years world wide. Wolves are a top predator but the animals all survived and multiplied. Man comes along and is a top predator as well, man decided to eliminate the wolves. It hasn't always been for the best however. It seems like most of the time man gets involved with an ecosystem they tend to damage it, not improve it. I'm not a tree hugger but have just observed how we have damaged nature far more than we have ever helped it.

Amazing ….We have a few coyotes nearby but never heard of wolves ..Those footprints are gigantic

That's a big dog, or a very small mitt.

The population is increasing in BC.

Right, and they keep losing protections in the USA. I’m sentimental to them which makes me biased, but a wolf saved my life when I was a toddler. That’s how I got this goofy nickname.
They are majestic creatures. Fearless, strong, and loyal. I read once that wolves are the only animal that can be found on every continent.
