Bifacial thumb scraper.

Going through my agate type stuff for another post, I stumbled into this nicely worked bifacial scraper. I gotta say, I have hundreds of thumbscrapers, but this is the only one worked so extensively on both sides. Several have a little flaking here and there, but none completely worked into this form.

Does anyone else have anything like this? Lets see them.

I've got more than a few of these little over and under oddballs, here's three I yanked out of a scraper frame. Somewhere I've got a uniface piece like yours, same material and shape but only worked on one side. I'll try and find that piece and post it here.

I'm sure you'll recognise the last one, it's from South Dakota, think it was found near Vermillion.

Yeah thirty7, odd ball is right. I am gonna go through all of mine one of these days and give them another look.

That Dakota piece sure resembles a Knife River flint looking material with those light colored inclusions.
