Left and right as it describes a political ideology has it origins in the French revolution. The national assembly divided, supporters of the king to his right, supporters of revolution to his left.

Since you did a pretty good job putting down the left -it should be noted that parties of the right include Neoconservatives, social-authoritarians, Monarchist, Theocrats, Nationalist, Nazis. Neo-Nazis, and fascist.

But the right had no capitalists or Libertarians there? No one standing up for "Individual" rights?
Funny how some countries see left and right. But you didn't catch that did you?

The make up of OUR country puts all of those(that you claim as right) solidly on the left.

Not your fault,, our education system is lacking.. guess who nearly lost his head because he thought(wrongly) that the revolution would put the power in the hands of the people? He was blinded by his views of human nature.
