Best Silver Day Ever

Second visit to an old baseball field yielded 11 total silver coins; 2 Washingtons, 3 Rosies and 6 Mercs. One of those hunts where the silver just would not quit. Had to swing very slow so as to not miss any of them as they were all pretty deep. Field is huge so plenty of virgin ground to hit. 119 silver for the year. Not going to top last years 172 but at least making it closer than I though about a month ago as this new site has given up 18 silvers in two hunts.

Nice amount of silver. I'm sad to say I never found that much since I started in Dec-2007. Guess I just don't get out enough to the right places. Lots of the places I go have been hammered hard by other detectors, but I do good enough in the water when I can go to make up for it. Well done. I hope you break your record of 172 from last year. There are still about 47 days left in the year and this is obviously a great spot. HH.
