All the rings were found in playground areas of parks... most near swings or slides.

Most excellent collection of rings Dimeman! Just beautiful.
Like you, most of mine were found at playgrounds too. Only a few were found at farm properties.
Great job on the bowl of clad too.

Hey Dimeman......awesome finds... got a few questions for ya...whats the name of that HUGE park (running area, etc) north of downtown..........been there once when I brought my daughter to get her passport visa..found a coin and necklace in the volleyball court at that park.....second..just wondering ..you mentioned finding your rings in the playground areas...just curious what the average depth of your ring finds are..playgrounds are my MAIN hunt area as well, and what settings do you use..all metal probably the best setting ..just have to dig everything as I usually do...but I tend to ignore the deep deep stuff even in the playgrounds cuz usually around 4-6 inches down is a heavy cloth covering blocking further deeper digging. thanx and good luck in 2008.
