Best place?

it depends on how much you want to spend....I have a Prizm III which cost me about $300 and it is deadly accurate on coins, and very easy to use and get started with....usually what the detector is telling me on the screen is in the ground!? I love my new Prizm, it goes deep and pinpointing is also extremely easy/accurate.? There is also a couple different coils available for the Prizm series, a 9.5 inch Whites coil and the Bigfoot coil from www.jimmysierra.com ......hope this helps

The best places that I have found are areas where people used to gather, like old swimming holes, picnic areas, and especially old houses.....the houses are where I have found the most coins......found 30 wheaties in my own yard!!

Find out where people used to go. Old buildings such as churches, schools, and homes are usually good places, with proper permission.
Try to research where people might have gone for picnics.
I prefer to search in construction areas where sidewalk replacement is being done. Again, with permission.
