Best part of today's hunt...the pictures! + some relics!

I got permission to hunt a lot of great places, but the weather sucked...so I walked a few miles for recon. Found two old home sites, one school (all torn down) and have my eye on this place...



Spent a while hunting this beautiful field in the rain...

not bad for a panoramic shot with my cell phone! It put four pictures together to make one...and it told ME where to point the camera! ha!

Lead and copper ball...reads like a penny on my MXT, and not white like the lead found about 10 feet away...


FEDERAL HIGH POWER No 12...shell looked to be a paper shell before it fell apart...

AWESOME ring and staple...


and ring...no staple...

And, after the long day out in the rain, I wanted to warm up, plus I owed it to my wife to cook dinner, so I fried catfish and some popcorn shrimp in my homemade beer batter...

nice finds, great pix! my camera does the panorama too, but I,m not to sure about it. now that I see yours, I have to try it. Nice old hall. does it have a date on it? & are you in NoMO
