What is the best find you have scratched while recovering it?

View attachment 1631510 Hit this carved ornament stone believed to be Native American with a pitchfork does that count? Note the two white marks made by pitchfork. Dang kind of sucks. Very lucky to find anyway.

This subject brings up awful memories , I never hit anything real valuable , but recall many certain nice dropped Minnie balls I have hit over the years 1 was 20 years ago (almost). When I hit Minnie's I usually re-plant them .

I've had a few buried in pots for almost 3 years now.

I've done the most damage to my coins after I dug them .....Well 1 mostly.

Hi, hope every one is well, here is 2 of my finds that i scratched a while back while recovering them. Never did forgive myself for scratching the silver 2 1/2 shilling.
