Prospecting
Been prospecting a long time. Lots of 1-3 gram nuggets through the years; but this is my biggest @ 7.21grams! Found it this morning in my first 20 minutes of sniping the high water on a small creek. Whole crevice was around 6ft long and only other gold was a couple of 1.5grainers and micros.

Congratulations on the beautiful looking nugget.
This memory will last you for many moons. :headbang:

VERY NICE :) Can I HAVE IT ?? hehehe J/K

What a gem of a find. At today' s gold price guessing round $ 620 melt value but i bet alot more from a nugget collector. Gives some of us amateurs some hope. I would love to find the pure stuff. I tried a run or two a couple years back in San Gabrial mtns and then up by Mered river southwest of Yosemite. Not much luck on my outings

Keep at it! I have been going out almost every weekend since last April. Biggest piece till now has been in the grains not grams. Thinking about dusting off the ol' whites tdi and checking the banks of the creek now. 🤞
