need some help finding year range on this button cant seem to find info on its name,, I can read "Best" on the back.

I would say early to mid 1800's I have found a few of them and they are often gold plated.

I totally agree with Aureus. He nailed it right on the head. By the late 1830's the style diminished.

I would say circa 1820, they were all gold plated with quality marks like that.
