what are the pieces you are talking about, SRV
what are 'dolly pegs", Molly

;D ..Dolly pegs are what holds the washing on the line...well, surely the Indian women hung their washin on a line... they are the same shape.. ::)

Molly.

It never occurred to me, I thought they used driers like us.

jonsey,
let's get that boat
you sit in back with a flat pick when you drive and i will be up front doing the fretting
when we get done we can go find some points or something
steve

THANKS jbrown and coteau
those books are filled with examples like the things i find
i have to buy those books some way

coteau, where are the bird heads in the last book?

thanks again

lars

The birdhead is about 3/4 of the way down on page 114.

I like the drawings of the excavations towards the end of the Mandan book. The one on page 134 is kinda cute with that sign in the midden mound that reads, Keep away Relic Hunters....
And the kid or whoever is running on top of the midden mound carrying a scapula hoe.... :laughing7:

Here is a pic of some bone points from the State Museum that I took a while back.

Your finds are museum quality. :notworthy:
