Beryl in matrix of Feldspar, Quartz, Biotite & Dravite-Schorl Tourmaline

Removing layers of Biotite Mica revealed several translucent Emerald crystals on this large cabinet specimen.

Beryl crystal extracted from its host. A frosty exterior covers a gemmy interior.

Those are some awesome photos oculus! I can't wait to get back up to hiddenite and Crabtree!!!

Really hard to photograph this specimen but it has a pretty cool, very pale green Beryl crystal measuring approx. 2.5 cm. The matrix looks flat but is actually several inches in depth.

Some interesting Dravite-Schorl Tourmaline crystals, some terminated; amidst layers of Biotite Mica.
