Bergie's Back for '07!!!
First hunt of the new year today in New York...a cruel trick from mother nature in that the top half inch or so of the ground is soft, easy digging, but 6 inches below that, frozen, so I had to break out the hammer and chisel after all...only got a modern quarter, a dime and then...I had a frozen dime I posted late last year sticking out of a chuck of frozen dirt...I guess after the photo was taken I forgot to get the dime. I came across it upside down, right there where the photo was taken and it was defrosted and ready for me to take home. Also, a Stanley measuring tape next to it I had found last time I was detecting. :-) Good luck to all in '07.
