Beginner Here! First post!

Hey all!
First poster here! My husband and I are beginners, located in the New River Valley, VA! Found some shells, casings and an old anchor. Plus some fairly modern coins.
Any idea what the (lead?) Chiseled item may be? No clue!

The "chiseled" lead in the 2nd to last picture is a bullet - what is called "wadcutter" by most.
